We were delighted to welcome over 130 attendees on September 22-23, 2016 to the IBM Chief Data Officer Strategy Summit, Fall in Boston.
In its third year, the IBM CDO Summit, Fall brought together more thought leaders than ever before, with over 130 Chief Data Officers, Chief Analytics Officers, Chief Data Scientists and senior-level data executives convening to network, share experiences and discuss the latest technological developments.
This year saw the IBM CDO Summit, Fall take on a new, exciting format, designed specifically with you in mind.
This year’s summit kicked-off with a welcome address and exclusive networking lunch on September 22. Then, across the afternoon, attendees chose from a number of Confab Groups, broken into 3 specific tracks based on the IBM CDO Look Book: Data Integrator, Business Optimizer and Market Innovator.
They selected the session they wished to join on the day and were free to roam across all 3 tracks should theywish. The day concluded with a networking Drinks Reception, allowing attendees to unwind and connect with peers in an informal environment.
On September 23, we began with our bi-annual Data Divas networking breakfast, giving women and men alike the chance to discuss the position of women in data and the opportunities available to the next generation of data leaders.
Then, equipped with ideas and takeaways from yesterday’s interactive sessions, delegates enjoyed a morning of plenary sessions in the form of on-stage panel debates. Here they asked more questions and shared their own experiences on the topics at hand.
Finally, we concluded at lunchtime with a takeaway/buffet lunch, allowing plenty of time for the weekend ahead.
